I think it would be useful to share playlists from main admin account to users on a Plex Server. For example I have created several playlists to easily find movies by collection - all of James Bond movies in order, all of Alfred Hitchcock movies, Star Wars 1-6, etc
When other users log on, would be useful for them to see playlists that have been shared or all
It takes few more steps, but using Collection feature will suffice for your needs.
Please elaborate, I’ve looked for a “Collection” but can’t find on web client or iOS app.
First you want to put movies into collections by using PMS web client selecting them and assigning them to appropriate collections. You can do this by clicking the icon with check mark. It is on the left side of your library. Once you select multiple items, a folder icon with plus mark will appear. This will allow you to assign collections. Now under your iOS or any other client, use the filter and select collection. You should be able to see your collections.
Like I said, it takes few more steps. Collections should be more easily accessible in my opinion.
