Set top boxes like FireTV and ShieldTV have a really nice way of getting Plex Media Player. You go into their little app store, install and done.
On my HTPC and Steam Machine the user experience is not good. I need to plug in a keyboard, go to the website, download the file, install it, click next a bunch of times, and then add PMP to my launchers, etc.
It would be nice if PMP was just submitted to Steam so I all my HTPC’s and gaming machines (regardless of OS!) have a nice up to date client with no work from me.
