Feature Request - Timed Download Refreshing

I take advantage of what capabilities are presently available in Plex to make smart playlists to keep the music cycling and staying fresh. Here’s hoping to shared playlists and smart playlists based on other playlists. Anyway…

Is it possible to set a timer to force the download section to perform a refresh at customized timed intervals? If I am listening to a smart playlist on my computer that also happens to be downloaded on my phone, I would need to manually engage the refresh to cycle the tunes that did play with tunes that now fit the criteria. Sometimes I leave my wifi and forget to refresh. So if I am listening to the computer and have Plexamp open on my phone but idle, it could execute a refresh to be closer in sync. The Plex app does this after every song, but Plexamp seems to handle syncing more efficiently than the Plex app.

Thanks

good question, we only do a refresh when you open the app. if the app is open isn’t it easy enough to kick off a refresh manually? i guess i’m wondering what the trigger would be, and also we are trying to be efficient

I just thought it might be convenient to have the offline section to keep itself up to date at regular intervals, maybe on the hour or half hour. The Plex app does this after each song, which might be too often. Obviously I would not want to execute an app restart or manually refresh the downloads while operating a motor vehicle. I tend to keep the download count lower as it seems to impact the responsiveness and performance of PlexAmp, plus phone storage is at a premium.

Regardless, PlexAmp is a fantastic app.
