My TV does not have bluetooth capability, so I’m unable to watch with headphones through my TV while casting/playing through Plex. If they allowed (while casting to TV) the ability to play the audio through my laptop, or even a phone, then I would be able to bluetooth through that and would allow me to listen to my show/movie through the media server and not my bluetooth-less TV.
IIRC this is one of the use cases discussed in the „Tandem Playback“ suggestion thread. You might want to check that out and comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes.
