Once my PMS is set up and configured (on my Nvidia Shield), all poster/background images, titles, descriptions etc are added and it is all perfect, why is there no simple and easy one click Backup option, which can then be used to Restore everything exactly as it was?
I would like this backup/restore function to quickly restore my PMS following factory reset etc of the Nvidia Shield. The backup data could be saved to the PC on which we access the PMS Web App, and then easily restored from that file when needed.
Obviously the media (on a networked HDD) would need to be exactly the same so the PMS can find/map to it.
It seems quite strange that this feature isn’t already a thing, especially as it can take time and effort to have PMS set up and configured just as we want it, only to have to do it all again when necessary because there’s still no restore option, yet.
