Feature Suggestions forum-topics should never close (unless obsolete)

Feature Suggestion forum-topics should not close automatically as with other topics.

For example, there have been dozens, if not hundreds, of requests for date and time to be added to recording Get Info display. All that I could find have timed-out and are closed to voting. These get lost in the noise of more than 11,000 feature requests and force users to create redundant topics (thereby further increasing the noise).

This is a fundamental flaw in the Plex feedback via the forums.

Suggestion threads in #feature-suggestions aren‘t closing automatically. It can however happen that threads which have been moved into this section from somewhere else still have that closure timer on them.

If you see a thread that’s been closed like this, please flag it so mods can reopen it and clear any timers.

Keep in mind… the above only applies to threads in the #feature-suggestions category, not every thread with the words „feature suggestion“ (in many flavors) in their title.
… also: we will close duplicate suggestions to avoid distracting/dispersing votes and attention. If we do there’s usually a related note / link to the main thread.
