Lot of threads being closed

I’m seeing a lot of threads being closed, I assume automatically, and probably due to their age and inactivity. However, this is resulting in unaddressed reports of bugs getting closed.

Only way to add rating to Artist is in Summary view

I noticed that Plex added ‘Artist Rating’ to the Custom Filters list (but not Album or Track Rating, which I think more people use). I don’t use ratings at all, but, curious about the new filter, I tried to rate one of my artists. I found that the only place in Plex Web that allows me to rate an artist is if I change the Library to Summary View. For albums, you can edit the album and change the rating. Same for individual tracks. But not for artists.

I appreciate that, but this has really caused a problem in the Feature Suggestions forum. Tons of requests that have not been implemented or (visibly) rejected, many of which have votes, have been closed due to the automatic 90-day rule. In other forums I can understand the value of this, but in Feature Suggestions, this prevents voting (I’m not sure, but I don’t think adding a vote resets the 90-day clock).

Can the rule be disabled in just that forum?

Feature suggestion category does not have the rule to apply the close after 90 for non activity to topics. Note they do not have the message at the bottom in bold that say it will be closed after 90days. ( this Forum Feedback category is also does not have that rule.

Any that were closed in that category should only have been close due to 1. already implemented 2. it is a definite won’t do. 3. a duplicate of one that already exists. 4. Someone using the feature suggestion area for a soapbox to stand on. In all of those cases it would have been manually done by staff.

However I do see that if a feature suggestion was made in another category that does have the rule, say Mobile Devices for example, the setting is not removed when topic moved to feature suggestions. Which I will ask discourse about

just a quick test shows I will just have to remind staff to remove that rule from topics that are moved to feature suggestions. but I will ask discourse is there is way to have that be automatic when moved.

[Bug] Search only returns first 30 results

I’m guessing this is actually by design, but it is so wrong that I’m going to insist on calling it a bug. When I enter ‘Enya’ in the Search field and select ‘Show More Results…’ it takes me to the full search results page. But these aren’t full search results. I have 10 Enya albums, comprising 95 tracks. The full search results page only lists 30 tracks. What’s the use of a full search results page if it doesn’t return everything that fits the search term?
