I am not sure if they have been asked before in other threads but couldn't find anything. I would like it if dev could add a notification feature for all devices alerting them when a user i share my library with starts to stream a media and what media.
eg.
Notification 1. User A is starting a stream.
Notification 2. User A is currently streaming The Falling Sky.
Notifcation 3. User A. Streaming has ended.
Also i would like the ability to set streaming quality for each users.
User A local quality 20 Mbps, 1080p & remote quality 3 Mbps, 720p. With drop down of course.
Lastly profile for Plex/Web base on browser. Allowing a user to set a profile for Chrome for example. When the uses a new computer and login using chrome, all settings are the same. If they want a different setting they can create a different profile.
I am tired of setting up my settings for the browser every time i log in to a different machine. I am virtual desktop infrastructure system admin. I randomly get a different desktop when i log in to the broker. I have 2000+ vms so yeah you can imagine the nightmare.
I don't feel that's something we should be using as a plugin. It should be a feature.
With that being said, i will go head and give it a try. It looks really good. Keep up the good work. :D
I agree it could be better if built in. I didn't feel like waiting for this feature for two reasons. Who knows what the built in release would do ( I can tailor this to fit my needs and others ) and since there is no public roadmap, who knows if this is on the list or when it would be included.

I signed for plexpass because I thought if I needed a feature request which makes sense I can ask for it. Apparently a lot of people must ask for it as well before dev considers it. Clearly I am not the only one who think this ought to be a feature.
Anyway, do you an ETA when you going to have iOS support?

iOS support for what? It already works for notifications if you watch something on the iOS app. iOS can also receive notifications via prowl/pushover/boxcar
