Player Version#: Says no update so I assume latest?
I cannot download any movies for offline viewing on my IPAD AIR 2. This has been going on for a while, I see there were fixes but still not working. Cannot sign up for BETA as it says it is full. I tried setting DNS to 8.8.8.8 and also a direct connection to my server. I’ve also connected via a hotspot - ALL THE SAME RESULTS!!!
I’m going on a trip tomorrow night and would love to have some movies on my ipad. This is nuts and I’m tired of paying for a plex pass and this issue not actually being resolved.
While I feel your pain and agree with you, you probably can simply copy the video files to the iPad and view them locally. I did that for a recent trip of mine and then while waiting for a connecting flight decided to try the Plex download option to get more material, which utterly failed. I was glad that I had downloaded the videos I did before leaving on the trip. I filed this - Downloads fail to start or complete on tablet/phone in airport. No action on it yet.
