File Naming

My plex server works great with movies but for the life of me I can’t seem to work out naming conventions for TV no matter how hard I try, below is my file structure if someone can provide feedback as to what I’m doing wrong. I’m using the Plex TV Series Scanner, and the Plex Series Agent. Bluey shows up but not thunderbirds, I’ve seen this with my adult shows as well where it seems to integrate them. For example I’ll have fallout and severance and if severance has more episodes it shows them after the fallout ones?

TV Shows

- Bluey {tmdb-82728}

- Season 01

   - Bluey.S01E01

   - Bluey.S01E02

- Season 02

  - Bluey.S02E01

-Thunderbirds {tmdb-891}

  • Season 01
- Thunderbirds.S01E01

Sure, here is a support page that explains exactly the suggested naming: https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/

Also crucial is which folder you are adding to your Plex library.
In general, never (try to) add tv show one by one.

  1. Only add one folder to the Plex library: the one which holds all the tv shows.
  2. Don’t introduce more folder levels inbetween, like Genre folders, or index letter folders or similar.

Point 1) would be your folder TV Shows. Or from @FordGuy61 's example it would be tv-scifi.

My intention was to separate out parent and kid shows. Then at some point split off into multiple servers as I outgrow my current synology. So I’m utilizing different shuttle craft names. I was importing like volume 1/Aldrin. When I change my folder to volume 1/Aldrin/TV Shows it appears to fix it? The movies folder seemed to be less picky and haven’t had issues. This response triggered a light bulb after months of head banging! Thanks much!
