Ok, what am I missing here. I have files named properly and some will update and pull data others wont.
what agent is being used? if they are mp4 with embedded metadata then it might be using that depending on settings. A lot of ripping software puts the file name in Title field for embedded metadata
Some of my files are .mkv and some are .mp4 and some are .avi.
May I see the MKV file names and structure – exactly as they exist ?

I have my media and server on a ds 1019.
I updated the to the approved naming convention with no success. It’s odd that the majority of my media will pull the data but there are certain files that just will not update.
What are your Agent settings? Do you have “Local Media Assets (LMA)” at the top?
If so, move it to the bottom. It only needs to be enabled to work.
If at the top, it preempts the other agents which grab the real metadata.
I renamed my files and moved thetvdb to the top. It hasnt updated yet but the system is still detecting intos. I’ll let it finish running its batch processes and check back later.
