Hi. some of my movies have wrong titles. Meaning, that they have the title of the movie but as it is on the file properties. not the proper title.
I unchecked the Local media assets from the agents, but still the problem insists.
The only way I found to correct it, is to manually go and delete the file properties field, which has the title, and refresh metadata. Which is not feasible.
is there anything else I have to change to correct the names?
Did you try a Refresh Metadata on one of the movies?
Yes many times without any luck.
I tried to unmach and rematch also.
And from now on, when I add a movie the same thing happens.
It keeps on reading the name from the embedded file metadata
What agent are you using? This is only applicable for the legacy agents, for the modern agents you must edit the library, go to Advanced and uncheck “Prefer local metadata”.
That seems to solve the problem.
I was looking on: Settings - library and there was nothing like that there.
The setting was on: Settings - Libraries - edit library - advanced - Prefer local metadata
I unchecked that, and all is fine now.
