Files that won't play on Plex for PS4, HTPC but will play through VLC

Hi all

I have various files (blu ray rips) in mkv format that won’t play in Plex on PS4 or HTPC (well, they play but you get 2 seconds then pause etc), but the files play perfectly fine on the HTPC using mediaportal or VLC player ? I’ve adjusted down to below 8mb speed and still no joy.

Anything I’m missing here ? Files play from the NAS so presume the NAS is OK as they work on VLC etc, so is it Plex ? I really want Plex on PS4 to work !

MKVs are not supported in the app they will need to be transcoded or remuxed
