I’d like to suggest adding a filter in Plex to easily identify movies or TV shows that are unmatched by the metadata agent.
I recently discovered that I had several series stored in the correct location, but because they were not matched at all, they were effectively invisible in my library.
This new filter could:
List all unmatched media items
Allow quick matching from that view
Optionally also detect and list duplicates in the library
This would make it much easier to keep libraries complete and consistent without having to hunt for missing titles manually.
Example annimated TV Show of old Zelda serie or Mario Bros. The detection is really terrible. For mario bros, we have multiples shows start with same name (Mario Bros Tv Show, Mario Bros 3, Mario Bros: World) Plex merge all in Mario Bros Tv Show and the Folder are correct with correct name. Yes a rename all with good structure, but I find this append after multiple month.
Zelda just never appair on Plex without notification
If we can have a page and see all detection problem, that can really help. I’m not a begginner, now I check that, but for new users, it’s sure they have some tv-show isn’t show on plex

The Duplicates filter can only find duplicate episodes.
Therefore you need to switch the library view to Episodes view mode, before engaging the filter.
Regarding the matching issues:
Investigate the listing of these shows on both TheMovieDB.org and TheTVDB.com
Compare if they list all seasons, or whether some of the seasons are split into separate shows. Depending on this, you need to either select a different Episode Ordering for this show, or reorganize your files if none of the available Orderings fit them 100%.
