So I love the collections concept. However, on all my Plex apps (iPhone, Windows, iPad, AppleTV …), when I have Movies selected as what I want to see listed, I do not want to see Collections. If I flip the viewer to Collections, it correctly (in my mind) only shows collections. If you must, add an All menu item to that menu but allow us to set any one of those choices by default so that our browsing experience remains consistent. The argument for doing this is that otherwise, people with large bodies of media are going to have to spend hours or days clearing up their collections list because they have so many singleton movies that were auto-populated with collections based on the folder or file name back in the day when that was something that Plex did.
You can do that already.
Edit your library
go to the ‘Advanced’ tab
set the Collection inline view to Disabled
