Finally found plex on my nvidia sheild

After 4 days of messing about i have found plex on my sheild
it looks like the mobile version on my tv. ive tried finding the settings tab to switch it from mobile to tv but its not there

however it doesnt look like it used to

it used to be folders listed down the left with all my films on the right

now its big folders above the server name and the layout is a bit crap

how do i change this to how it was?

Not sure about your statement. Plex is easily found on the Shield. Did you install from the Play Store? It’s been a while but I believe Plex was already installed on my Shield. The description of the interface is not what mine looks like. It sound like the wrong client is installed.

its on my factory reset sheild from the play store?

any ideas what i can do now then?

Is this an older shield? The Plex app should already be available in your apps without to having to go to the Play Store to install it.

Yes its the version that came installed on my sheild pal

my sheild is an original sheild

do i need to get a newer version of plex from the playstore?

if so how do i uninstall the version that came built into my sheild?
