I’ve used Plex on my Nvidia shield for a while and everything was fine. there may have been some kind of app update on the shield, but I no longer can see the movies or any of my own library in The shield. The movies are showing up in the Plex app on my phone! And the server is running on the shield. But I just don’t see those that content. I’ve looked through all the settings on the shield, and can’t see where I enable the ability to see my content!

It appears that you removed the server from your plex account in September 2019.
That is the last time, plex.tv saw its presence.
The Android TV needs the server to be signed-in to your plex account, or it won’t find it.
The Plex app on your phone has the ability to scan the local network and find the server on its own.
So you need a way to sign-in your server back into your account.
Normally, the web app app.plex.tv should tell you that there is an “unclaimed” server in the local network and offer you to claim it. Did you try that?

Thanks for your quick reply. I am on app.plex.tv now on my PC and I don’t see where in the app/webpage I would find this “unclaimed” server. Not sure if I was clear but the Shield is the server if that helps.
