I want the ability to have finer grained parental controls. All of the kids movies that I will allow my kids to watch I have added a sharing label to. Then in their accounts I selected the kids label as a restriction. On their iPads when Im on the discover screen it shows upcling trailers for NON-kid movies which is really bad. If I then add the ratings restrictions of G and PG to their accounts it gives them access to the movies that have those ratings AND the one that I have tagged. There are movies like Star Wars that “officially” have a PG rating but are not appropriate for my 5 year old. The tag and labels restrictions are performing an AND in the code instead of an OR. They should be able to see only the moves that I tag as long as its G or PG rating so that it hides the inappropriate movie trailers and the movies that I haven’t tagged,
Thanks, using labels is exactly what I was looking for! I watched a movie with my kids and they wanted to rewatch it but they couldn’t with the parental controls I have setup, buuut I don’t want to give them access to ALL content with that rating. Labels solved this but finer parental controls would be welcome.
