Try disabling the pre-roll video.

You are not the only one experiencing the problem. Plex is aware of it.

Intros (extras) crashing Plex app - Android/Firesticks specifically

Server Version#: latest Player Version#: latest is anyone having issues with intros (extras) playing? For instance, a user tries to start a movie, and it begins to play, but then tries to start the intro, plex crashes, and the plex logo pops up and goes back to the home screen. I’ve seen this happen often, particularly on Android devices, like Firesticks. This has happened to at least 5 of my users. I’ve had to disable my intro trailers.

An issue with Pre-roll videos?

Hi All, I’ve been having an issue for AGES with my media being played on amazon fire sticks. (Specifically MOVIES) I think I’ve discovered what may be causing it, I make my own Pre-roll videos (Funny takes on adverts and such, send me a message, I’ll send you a link). On old versions of the app, Pre-roll failed, but main playback worked. On new versions, Pre-roll works, but main movie playback fails. I’ve now disabled Pre-roll videos. All seems to work once more?
