I loaded the latest Fire Stick OS and then the Amazon Plex Client…
Cannot get it to play anything for more then 10 minutes…
It freezes, crashes, restarts, hangs, can’t fast forward or rewind to get anywhere.
OK, so i loaded the new beta released today kepler-armv7a-amazon-fireExo-8.3.0.18867-5bf61719, And that turned out to be worse…
Disabling the new player used to work, not anymore.
Sitting here typing this, and the never ending circle display is going like it was actually doing something.
Been putting up with this since the first issues back in November…
Everyone is working on it… The ExoPlayer group, Plex is also working on it.
Yes there were a lot of bugs in the ExoPlayer most have been resolved.
But how long is this going to go on for… seems like no one is in any real hurry to get this fixed… Most of my remote users have the Fire Stick, now they try it every once in a while,
At least I have Roku to fall back on…
