I have 3 Amazon fire sticks in our house, all have the Plex app connected to my Windows 10 server. One of the Plex players show all Libraries but show one of those as having no content? . the content of the library show on the home screen under “recently added movies”. I have tried everything I can think off including: remove the folder in the library. Deleted the the library reboot and build the library again by linking the folder containing the media. I have deleted the Plex app rebooted and downloaded the app again, but no dice so far.
My 2 other Fire Sticks have zero issue and show the library in question.
Do you have all the new manage recommendations settings for that library turned off? If you do that and there are no continue watching items for the library, it will show no content in the default ‘recommended’ view, and not allow you to switch to library mode. The fix is to switch on some recommendation settings for that library, then you can access it, switch to library mode, then resizable the items.
If that is what’s going on, it could have been that the other clients already had that library switched to library view.
Hope that’s the issue. I posted this specific issue but no one has commented or acknowledged the problem.
