Running server 1.20.4.3508 on a WD PR4100 and 8.9.1.21593 (b9a39815) on a fire stick 4K.
I usually start playing music using the ‘Random Album Radio’ function, sometimes it will skip the first track or two on an album and I’ll have to go back and select those tracks a couple of times before it actually plays, but the most annoying thing is that after a while, it will just fail to play.
It’ll start displaying ‘An error occurred while playing this album’ and start skipping through tracks really fast without anything playing. I can go back and play the tracks previously played, but anything else I select will throw up the same error. I can still play video content which will work fine, but the error message persists on the screen.
I have to go and force stop the application on the fire stick and when I go back in I can play the tracks that previously didn’t work. I cannot identify a particular track that causes it or doesn’t work, it does it seemingly at random.
In the attached server log, on line 22453 it gets through track 5 on Sounds of Silence: ‘Nov 26, 2020 07:41:51.766 [0x7f93c59e9700] DEBUG - Play progress on 27995 ‘Somewhere They Can’t Find Me’ - got played 149935 ms by account 1!’
After that is the point where it fails. If anyone could suggest what is causing this and how to fix it, I’d be very grateful.
