Fire Stick Not Auto-Playing Next Episode

Pretty much the exact same problem as described in auto-closed issue at Fire TV not auto playing next episode

Fire Stick, app was updated very recently (Mar. 9) , The “Play Up Next Video automatically setting is set to ON. Server is latest version.

I choose a TV series from my server, hit Shuffle, and at the end of the episode, I see the countdown, and once it hits zero, just a black screen. The next episode does not play automatically. I have to hit the button on the remote and hit the → button to play the next episode.

It’s broken on the latest update on mine, again.

Can we get at least some acknowledgment on this issue? It has been broken for me for ages already. Tons of post about this, but they are still not fixing it?
