I was recently testing out my HDHR Prime tuner using my Fire TV and Samsung Galazy S8. Watching a 1080p stream was perfect after a few seconds of buffering while within my house. I wanted to see if my computer could handle transcoding live TV so I reduced the quality to 720p but then my stream was just frozen on the frame right before I switched the quality. I left it for a few seconds but still nothing. While both of my devices are on Wifi, they are on 5GHz and also able to handle the 1080p stream fine so I dont think bandwidth is an issue when converting. I tried it using the web player right on my server PC and that transcoded fine.
