FireTV 4K not showing in Cast List anymore

I don’t think there will be anything to show on the log.

I used to be able to cast from PlexAMP pretty seamlessly to my FireTV, but I can’t anymore. I reinstalled the app because it was bugging out randomly, switching audio control from my TV speakers to my phone. I reinstalled plex for FireTV, plex for IOS, and PlexAMP.

Now all I see is my server (gaming PC), and all my google devices. I cannot select cast to Android TV (ATFMM) anymore. I’ve tried a lot of troubleshooting. Double checked my ports are forwarded and connectable, preferred secure connections, allowed insecure connections on FireTV app, allowed remote access… made sure my FireTV is on the same network as my phone, etc.

I just want to play music from my phone / plexamp to my home theater speakers.

To clarify, my FireTV can connect to my server fine. And other servers I have access to as well. I was really loving the feature to use PlexAMP on my home theater speakers (because they’re awesome and so is Plexamp), but it’s super frustrating because I no longer can do that.

I realized I should reinstall plex and backup my server data so I don’t have to redo my sonic analysis / metadata / importing. I’ll try this guide: 7 Steps To Reinstall Plex Without Losing Data - Internet Access Guide

I have the same issue, were you able to resolve?

I could cast to my Fire TV 4K Max from my Android phone until late last year. I could also cast to my Sonos Speaker but now there are no players showing. I can cast from Plex on my phone to another TV with built in casting, a friend’s Chromecast and I can cast to YouTube from my Android phone or Tablets.

Thanks man but no… NO fix still. I even did a clean install of windows, reinstalled Plex, and nothing. All I want is to cast my Plexamp software to my $800 speakers lol.

I was this close to ordering a google chromecast for google tv, but haven’t. Since I can connect to all my google devices I’m sure that would work but everything else works fine on my fireTV.
