Seems to be unique to Fire TV Stick 4K 2018 - most live TV channels via my HDHomeRun fail to play - just see error message. Works fine on older non-4K Fire TV devices and on Plex for iOS and Plex Mac Web client. The logs show a crash with Exoplayer. Makes no difference if different H.264, maximum bitrate, interlacing options are set.
Only on Fire TV 4K Stick 2019 model, the whole UI responsiveness seems slow, ie. the animated Plex at the very beginning isn’t smooth. Other non-flex apps seem OK such as iPlayer and YouTube.
Update: still same problem - mostly limited to HD Freeview channels. Also noticed glitchy picture when it does work for certain channels - the audio is slightly behind and then the picture seems to skip several frames to the audio.
