I cannot get you the versions right this moment, I am using a FireTV 4K stick and a FireTV Cube 2019 which have the latest Amazon iOS and Plex installed. My server has the latest updates, I don’t skip or miss them.
The issue is with the Plex player after I watch something the info on the images don’t update at all until I clear the application cache and force stop the app then go back into it. I have removed the app from my FireTV and reinstalled same issue, I haved posted this issue on Reddit and others have been experiencing this.
I have also noticed if I watch something downstiars and pause turn off my FireTV then go upstairs and turn on the other FireTV the information also doesn’t update, and if I start the same TV show to resume it one of two things will happen. 1 after I hit resume the entire show will start playing from the begging until I stop and resume it again, or it will try to play the show then error out then I have to resume it again before it will start playing.
Not sure why Plex has changed the code breaking the usability of their application, I guess they never heard of “if its not broke don’t fix it” because this was working flawlessly before months ago, maybe even a year or so ago before. And as a Plex Pass member I would only expect the best from Plex, not the worst.
