FireTV stick unable to play error

Hi, I have a strange problem that only seems to affect Fire TV sticks when remote streaming! I have the server at my house that my parents and other family access remotely, my parents have 3 FireTv sticks, one 2nd gen, one 4K, and one 4K max. None of them will play anything, you just get “An error occurred please check network” all other apps playback fine (Netflix, etc.), you can playback from Xbox, Playstation, computers iPads, etc. so the network seems ok! What could be stopping only the FireTV sticks from playing?
