First Can't Find Server on Same PC then Can't Claim Server

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3830
Player Version#: 4.47.3
Computer: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1

Wednesday night everything was fine. Thursday morning it was broken. I changed nothing on the computer.

Web app was saying could not connect to server did I want to try insecure so I clicked on that. Nothing changed.

Followed the “Troubleshooting” link which starts with “make sure you’re running the latest version” so I downloaded and installed 1.21.1.3830.
Nothing changed.

So I tried a “System Restore” to Wednesday midnight but now attempting to Open Plex Server just said “Not Found”. So I undid System Restore.

Followed the forum advice from Can't find server on the PC it's installed on. which sent me to Why am I locked out of Server Settings and how do I get in? | Plex Support which said to go into registry and delete the PlexOnline* keys and restart PMS.
Now suddenly the “More>” link appeared in plex web and my server Friendly Name was their with my library entries. Followed the instruction “If you’re already signed into Plex Web App there, first sign out and then sign back in. That will clear connection info for you.”

Tried clicking on “Movies” and get the page saying “server is unclaimed and not secure”. Click on “Claim It Now” then click on “Claim Server”. It spins and spins for a long while and then gives up and goes back to “Claim Server”. Meanwhile, just below that it shows " Version 1.21.1.3830 [ Checking for Updates ]" and after a moment or two it says “! Something went wrong. [Please install manually.]” So I try running install again which asks if I want to “Repair” or “Uninstall” so I do “Repair”.
Nothing changed.

Long New Years weekend without my media. :frowning:
