How do you name and categorize a dvd set like a fitness set? For instance 21 Day Fix, or The Body Beast? What type of folder should I put them in?

Place them in their own TV Show library, not the same library as broadcast, cable, etc TV Shows.
Use the Personal Media Shows agent when setting up the library.
Example: Library points to /Fitness
/Fitness/P90X/Season 01/P90X - s01e03 - Shoulders and Arms.mp4

Thanks. This works kinda. The problem is it’s not naming the episodes.
For example my file is named this:
/Fitness/Body Beast/Body Beast - S01E01 - Beast Abs.m4v
But in Plex it is labeled “Episode 1”. How do I get it to take the episode name?
You’ll need to add the title and whatever additional details you want to see right in the episode files. If you’re on a Mac, you could use Subler for this purpose…

Subler is a great tool. You can use it to remux MP4s and search/edit metadata.
Some screen caps below:
- Subler
- Personal Media Shows Agent (Settings -> Agents)
- Library settings
- How the show appears in Plex.
Also, after you make desired changes, optimize the file in Subler (File -> Optimize). This moves some bits around in the MP4 headers to optimize the file for streaming. Look at Subler docs or Google “MP4 Fast Start” for more info.
