Fix Match / Automatch not saving file name

Everytime I use “Fix Match” to rename a movie file, it allows me to select from the list but it doesn’t save the file name.

For example my movie file is called “Dumbo.2019.1080p.BluRay.H264.AAC”
I click on FIX MATCH
Wait for Auto Match to find “Dumbo”
I select Dumbo
I wait for the hourglass to stop.
The name changes to “Dumbo” for a few seconds, then reverts back to “Dumbo.2019.1080p.BluRay.H264.AAC”

This keeps happening to all my movie files. What can I do to fix this?

You have Local media Assets enabled and on top of other agents.

Move Local Media Assets (Movies) to the bottom of the list then refresh metadata

Also, your filenames are the reason why plex doesn’t find a match automatically.
