Fix Match not working

Just upgraded to latest version, and now Fix Match isn’t giving me any choices. Ive got several incorrect Matches which need sorting, but I can’t get anything working.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

(Windows 10 server, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer browsers).

I rebooted, and it kind of works now, but its still really clunky and slow.

I would like to say that you shouldn’t need to use Fix Match all that much.
This might be an indication your naming might be off.

… and sometimes, no matter what you do, you’re just left scratching your head… for instance:

C.H.U.D. (1984)
comes up with
Sixteen Candles (1984)

C.H.U.D. (1984) doesn’t even appear in the list UNTIL you, in the Search Options, rename the Title to: CHUD and remove the year field.

Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N. (1951)
refuses to match anything, right or wrong and doesn’t appear in the list, UNTIL you rename the Title to: Captain Horatio Hornblower RN and erase the year… no problem then.

The BEST option is to name perfectly.
Eventually you’re going to need to know how to fiddle with Search Options, 'cause you WILL be fiddling with Search Options.

Note:
If you’re having a lot of trouble matching file names with dots between each word… Duh?

Yeah.
Name it CHUD (1984).

Same thing, name it Captain Horatio Hornblower RN (1951)

When in doubt, leave out all periods, dashes, and whatnot.

Sorry, no can do. FileBot controls my life - it knows the correct name - 'cause it just went there and got it - dammit.

lol

BTW: If Plex can’t match THE EXACT, PERFECT, PRISTINE name, that’s a Plex problem. Filebot and I are totally innocent.
