TV show parsed together by plex, even though they’re separate directories. Separate self-created library being added by plex to another TV show:

One thing I do notice right off the bat is, you have “Season 01” with the episode named s0e01
It either needs to be
Season 00

Or
Season 01

The second potential problem is I don’t see this show with this exact title listed on TMDB
If you’re using that source for you show order it may get matched incorrectly
You can change the show order for just this show to TVDB (aired) by clicking the pencil on the show poster
Go to Advanced
None of this will do you any good until you find the episode Chicken Soup With Rice episode and make sure it’s named correctly with the right season and episode name
When the TVDB and TMDB orders differ, it can also cause problems with matching. You will have to make your corrections and plex dance the show to see if that’s the issue
Someone from Plex may have to chime in if that’s the case
You cannot split a season. If these are in different locations, then what’s happened is both folders are being matched to the same show. You can “split” the entire show, which will separate them by folder. Then fix match the one with the specials.
Yeah, i see that i have to fix the folder name, but either way, it was originally a custom series. Somehow the Plex agent joined it. It isn’t in tvdb, and isn’t going to be. I have other custom series that are fine.
As for splitting, i don’t want to split a season. The entire “season” of specials shouldn’t exist.
Right. I mean you cannot separate out 1 season from a show, you have to split the entire show. It is somehow reading the folder name wrong and making it a season folder instead of s1. Split the show, then unmatch the one with the special folder. Hopefully this should change the specials to season 1 for this new unmatched show.
