However I now see that post marked “Answered” (with no answer to either of us).
So I’m starting a new post over here hoping to get more visibility / traction.
For those who don’t go over and look at the other post here is the gist:
“Like clockwork, the song will begin to play and will then make it between 35-69 seconds before freezing as if buffering. If left long enough, the iOS app will report that an error had occurred in retrieving my media. If I attempt to skip tracks, the next track will begin to transcode without issue (though with a slight delay as the track changes) and will again freeze at almost the exact same time marker as the first.” (from original poster: Runicen)
My configuration:
Server -
Windows Server 2008R2
Plex 1.5.1.3520
That thread is not marked as answered (i’m looking at it now). It is also in the public forum. You’re best location to be is in the iOS forum where the iOS dev team watches. I am moving that thread there now and then closing this one… You can continue there as cross posting is against guidelines.
I apologize for having misread this thread. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Please accept my apology?
Please attach that information, plus the XML of the failing media, and we can figure out what PMS and the client are doing. From there, we can push it to the iOS team or the server team.
