Folder location to add to libraries QNAP tvs-h874t

I am installing Plex on a new QNAP TVS-h874T QuTS hero h5.2.3.3006.

I have created a shared library folder “Media Server”. In Plex I go to add the library by browsing the media folder. A list of ~20 locations comes up ZFS_DATA1,2,18, etc; FileStation 5, ext, and so forth. I click on each of them and none of them show the “:Media Server” shared folder.

How do I find/add this shared folder to Plex?.

Found it by doing a SSH session to the server and running a find. The complete path in my case is:

/share/Media Server

/share is not an option when adding a library. You have to manually enter the path.

The structure of QuTS storage puts EVERY shared folder into its own ZFS_DATA dataset (QNAP’s implementation of ZFS storage)

You have to poke your way through (in the PMS browser) into each “ZFS_xxxx” directory until you find the shared folder.

Yes, it’s a annoying but that’s how QNAP implemented it.
