Force resolution on boot

Hi,

I’m wondering if it is possible to force a resolution and screen ratio on boot. When my Pi boots my TV is not yet booted and RasPlex starts with a 4:3 ratio on 480p if it can’t detect the TV.

You could try hdmi_mode in your configure.txt, details here RPiconfig - eLinux.org

Tried several modes in CEA & DMT without success. Still boots in 4:3 480p.

Have you tried hdmi_safe=1, it would help if you describe what you have tried instead of posting blind.
