Force server to do all the heavy lifting

Hello, not sure if this is in the right section or not but I'm wondering if its possible to force the plex server to do all heavy lifting regardless of player playing the media or even better having a specific client or device that it does this for.

 

the issue I'm having is that when I'm playing bluray rips of media that I own on my rasplex is sputters and hiccups bad its unplayable however it plays fine on other players.

 

any thoughts or help on this as I like my rasplex and would love to keep using it.

just tell RasPlex to transcode down to a bit-rate it can support - these are client side settings, not server side.
