Trouble playing a file.

Having trouble playing the following avi; media info: http://pastebin.com/66EaS1vA

Running on a Pi2 B rasplex v1.0.3. Plex Server Version 0.9.12.18

The video/audio is a bit choppy. It plays fine if I force it to transcode via the system settings.

On a side note it plays fine on my plex iPad app, video it transcodes, audio plays direct.

Any suggestions? Shouldn’t it normally fallback to transcode if it is having issues?
Is there anyway to force just that one file to always transcode?

Just realised that my plex server v risen is quite old, will update that first and see if the problem stil exists. Will report back unless there is something I am missing. Thx.

Updated to Version 0.9.16.3 Doesn’t fix it.

There is no fall back in PMS to transcode unplayable media and there is no way to force transcode just one file, suggest you re-rip the media again.

@NedtheNerd figured as much and already re-encoded… just wanted to make sure, as I haven’t had any problems with it in the past on other platforms (xbmc on ATV2).
