Forcibly remove all metadata for a TV show so it has to pull from TVDB

So, I have a collection of Looney Tunes cartoons that were organized HORRIBLY and have since fixed all the files manually. Before they were organized at all, plex of course recognized some items and pulled metadata, however none of the titles are showing up correctly. I ended up manually adding titles to the episodes for a while, but it is super tedious. I want to just nuke all the metadata it has on these episodes for the entire series and force it to re-pull all data from the TVDB now that it is in a format that matches how they label it.

I have tried un-matching and re-matching, but now it just renames it ā€˜Episode 1’ etc and not the actual title… and all my manually added titles are gone (not sort titles, just the titles) and all the posters are gone… so it didn’t refresh anything, just removed some metadata and added nothing.

I know this has likely been discussed and answered before. If so, please direct me to the correct thread.

Meet the Plex Dance. It is a total reset, like you’re adding the files for the first time.

Before that Meet The LMA Hack:

Then, if your files are in order:

You won’t have to go to the Loony Bin…:

I’m deep into these things and am realizing there’s more of them than there is of me… and if you get this tune stuck in your head - there ain’t enough Thorazine. Period:
