Please add this option as default, since is so annoying to have all the content in a messy way at the beginning and every single time i am forced to click on folder viewā€¦

This coming via the UNO client/app which is being deployed across platforms over time.

When I set my photo or music libraries to folder view, they remain in that view across sessions. I donā€™t have to keep switching back to folder view manually as some are reporting. Am I not understanding the issue here?

It depends if youā€™ve got UNO on your platform or not. If you do and you want the tab selection remembered thereā€™s a Plex setting for it.

Iā€™m just using the default web client and donā€™t even know what UNO is. My guess is itā€™s not installed, but Iā€™ll do some reading to learn what UNO is to be sure. Still feeling rather clueless when it comes to Plexā€¦

Nothing yet??? Since 2013??? They not even read our post I guess. This is so bad Plex team. So BAD! I want folder view as default too.

Already mentioned above by @darcilicoous, if you have. `remember selected tab" enabled in settings. your library will stay however it was when you left it in that app.

http://app.plex.tv is always the newest web client currently version 4.x which has the UNO interface she spoke of. I donā€™t have a date for the local web client to have it.

(app.plex.tv does not send your media or library out to the internet and back if that is why you donā€™t use it.)

What version of the Plex app do you have on the Samsung?

if the model you have has been updated to the UNO interface the setting should be here.
