No, that is when you try to ‘change’ the password.
Resetting the password is a different approach. You go to ‘plex.tv’ and click on ‘Sign In’.
Then you click on ‘Forgot Password?’

There never was a server signed into this account, so I assume that your server was originally installed under a different account.
You need to sign in both server and client (e.g. the web app) into the same plex.tv account.
