Free ad-supported movies with Plex

First of, congratulations Plex!
The ad-supported movies with Plex looks slick! I just tried watching Lord of war and it’s good.

Now please add subtitle feature and integrate the movies ala Tidal music integration.

I’d love to be able to search for “Tom Cruise” and gets a list of all movies he has played in or directed across all my servers, my friend’s, and Plex server. So that it will look like I have complete collection of all Tom Cruise movies.
And when I choose a movie I should be able to differentiate which source and which audio/video quality I want to play.

And please fix the darn new player engine. It doesn’t work in all my Android TV boxes except my Nvidia SHIELD TV.
Manually choosing to transcode a movie to 720p 3Mbps or 2Mbps is broken again. In some devices I own it just transcode to around 720x400 instead of 720p (1270x720) 3mbps or 2mbps.

Edit:
Okay… Plex ad supported video on demand seems to crash or stuck a lot! It’s just more convenient to watch from my own server at this time.

Many times it will show “Ad 1 of -1” and it will stuck like that forever in blank screen.

While playing in Picture in Picture mode, Plex app will crash when you browse and select to play other movies… LOL… And then after a restart of the app you will find out that the new movie you selected prior to crashing will have watch history the same duration as the movie you actually watched. LOL Plex…

Plex similar movies suggestions doesn’t always work.

When selecting a movie sometime there’s error " please confirm that the drive is connected"

During playing a movie, it sometime randomly paused and will not buffer further until you restart the app.

All of this was tested on latest Plex app on latest Nvidia shield tv.

I wished they learn from Plex Tidal Integration, instead of weird and buggy user experience we have right now.

Same I could never get it to play on shield all 15 of my other devices fine

Same here, the feature simply does not work and will stuck forever. I’ve watched more adds than actual content because I had to start from the beginning again and again and again.

But the overall question I have is WHY? Why offering another one ot those bad streaming-services? There are hundreds of add-driven services, including youtube to name just one. Why is there obviously no extended beta-phase, before giving us an unwanted, not working service you have to opted-out from? Why not stuck to what your users actual want in the forums, including audiobook-support for example, a feature that is ask for a lot? Unfortunately the idea to have the best possible service and software is being replaced by greed I feel, continuing to add one service after the other. I would rather have a working environment that is customizable to my likes. I would rather have a great solution to access ALL my media bug-free and easy. All that without having to fear that all my user- and usage-data are being sold to partners.

Same here , tried to watch a couple times the on demand movies and at the first add they froze. That was on the fire stick SD. Thought is was me doing something wrong being new to the plex thing
