Plex on demand movie and TV crashing the player

Plex on demand movie and tv crashing the latest stable ( as of today) Plex Android TV for my 2015 Nvidia shield tv.

The sequence of events:

1. Play movie.

2. 3 ads starts at zero minute. NICE!

3. Movie audio starts playing, but image is stuck on the last frame of the ads. Then everything goes normal after 1-2 minutes.

4. Another 3 ads after few minutes playing the movie. Repeat issues on above steps.

5. On the third or fourth time 3 ads shows, it crash the player. The whole screen froze on last ads frame. The audio of the movie playing. Then the whole thing flickers yellow tinted. And you have to force close the app.

I get that Plex wants to earn some ads money.
NICE decision by the way serving 3 ads at the time of user clicking to start a video !

But you can’t earn money if your own ads server crashing your own Plex player! Duh!

I would if Plex authentication server is not down !

My server just unclaimed itself!

Both my servers are unavailable!

My local servers!!

I’m logged in but can’t change to any other users at home nor to my main Pled home admin account!

So frustrating!

I just disabled Plex on demand movies for all accounts on my server because adult theme movies were shown in my kids’ account. As I’m not interested in using Plex on demand movie ever again because of that issue I can’t give you the logs.
