FreeNAS Plex Plugin DVR FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable

I have a FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable set up for Live-TV works well so far.
Now i wanted to integrate it my Plex. But my FreeNAS Plex Server dosn’t recognice it.
Just for fun tried it on a Windows Plex Server, it works.

So i think my Problem is some missing library. Can s.o. confirm or deny this?

This is a network tuner right not USB?

If so then it should just show up regardless of the of, but this is based on device discovery, if the BSD plugin/jail doesn’t see it that this is likely a network issue.

Starting with the usual question for FreeBSD/NAS does the jail have VNET enabled?

Also are you using DHCP? Is there any firewall in the jail/freenas/other?

Yes it works as a network tuner.
Jail/Plugin does see it.

Jail is with VNET on and DHCP no FW between Jail and FritzBox (that im aware off)

Just did a bit more testing on a FreeBSD VM.
VLC-Player can play Live-TV Stream. So i guess it should work with plex.

I doubt it is a problem with my network.

I have the same problem. Tried it on different FreeNAS Plex installations and never got it working.

I guess the best bet is waiting for TrueNAS Core with a Linux Subsystem. Plex Linux works fine with AVM Fritzbox.
Another nail in the coffin for FreeBSD.
