Freeview AAC_LATM 5.1 only plays in stereo

I’ve noticed on recordings from free view the audio codec states Freeview AAC_LATM 5.1, it only stereo is output to my Denon 7200wa.

The PMS is running on a Synology DS1515+ and the client is on nVIDIA Shield TV.

Is there anything I can do about this?

I should have mentioned, when I have checked the steam it states it as direct play, no transcoding.
