Wanting to ask a general question - how often, the frequency, are ratings for TV and Movies updated?
e.g. a new movie has a high IMDB rating, is it updated every week? Daily? Monthly? or never once loaded to the catalog ?
I believe it’s part of the movie metadata and will only be updated if you refresh it manually.
There’s an option that will regularly refresh metadata for music and tv-show libraries (if they’re using current-generation agents), though that seems to specifically exclude refreshing metadata for movie libraries (before you ask, I don’t know why that is) → Settings > [Server Name] > Scheduled Tasks > Refresh library metadata periodically
Hmm, that page seems to be outdated. I’ve had this enabled ever since they started automatic refresh sometime last year, and it updates both my movie and TV libraries every night. It prioritizes the latest releases, but it will go through the entire library eventually. Currently, it goes through about 130 movies and seasons per scheduled task.
