Get the feeling this is common thread. I am getting frequent buffering for Live TV using Hauppauge 955Q turner on a RasPi 4 device. I know there’s a lot of factors in this equation (network speed, congestion, possible latency and/or jitter, antenna, server hardware, etc) and this is where I’m stuck. I’m trying to find exactly what is causing the problems but having a hard time identifying the smoking gun. The flow is signal to antenna to tuner though the server to the client so lots of areas to look. Transcoding is also in the mix. Admittedly, a RasPi 4 that is wireless may not be the best setup for the server but it’s best I can do in my current situation. Anyhow, if someone has some guidance of where to look at each flow of the traffic and how to look, this might help me identify what’s going on.

Much much appreciated.

Have a look at your Roku Plex app settings. Ensure the following settings are enabled:
Allow MPEG2
Experimental 1080p MPEG2

This will hopefully prevent transcoding which frankly your Pi 4 is not going to be able to do well.
