So ever since the new update I seem to be experiencing that my Hard Drive keeps running as Plex frequently scans. Seems that its only for TV Shows, because I havent heard anything for Movies as of yet. Anyway to stop that from happening?
Plex does not just randomly scan your files. Do you have the option to automatically update libraries when a change is made? If so then something changed in your files and it triggered PMS to do a scan. If you don’t want that, turn that feature off or figure out if there is another program that is also accessing your media and making changes.
