I ssend invites either by username or email and nthey do noy get sent. Checked spam folder and even tried to nsend to myself on another eemail address. Pleease help I love my plex and have enjoyed it for years myslf. I only have about ten user accounts right now and no one has recieved an invitation
Workaround: (it’s the safer method anyway)
Tell your prospect users to go to https://plex.tv and “Sign Up” themselves.
Once they’ve done that, ask them for the email address they used to sign up.
Now invite them to be Plex Friends with you, using the email adress they told you. https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/friends
Once you’ve created the invitation(s) (don’t do too many at once),
tell your users to go to plex.tv and Sign In.
Then let them go https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/profile and click on “Requests”.
There they have to accept your invitation. If they don’t, you won’t be able to grant them acces to your media.
Once they’ve done that, they will appear in your friends list https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/friends
Once there, you can grant them access to your media.
