I couldn’t find a post with this particular issue.
I am able to invite and add a friend, they can accept the invite and see my server, but when they try and open the different sections TV, Movies, etc they aren’t able to open them.
Weirdly watch other works just fine so I’m not sure what the issue is.
Also I can see them as a friend in every view and gave them access.
Removed and added them multiple times but still the same problem.
They’ve tried laptop and mobile app, same problem.
Other friends have no problems.
Remote access is functional.
The only thing different here is that I’m in the US and they are in Belgium.
He has an android Samsung galaxy phone running the mobile app. He isn’t a Plex pass user. Also a windows laptop
I’m running the sever off a Mac mini.
I’m not familiar with the android version of the app so I can’t give him much guidance.
But he can see the libraries. It just does nothing when he clicks on them.
All apps you need to pay if not a Plex pass subscriber. If he becomes a Plex Pass subscriber for one month he can evaluate it before taking the big step of Lifetime. All apps are then free whilst a pass subscriber.
The other thing has he added the libraries to side bar through “More” PIN
